Excellent service throughout. My room was more like a bedsit with a lounge & open plan kitchen. The door fell off the integrated freezer when I opened it. Everything else seemed functional except there was no tea spoon anywhere (a minor issue). What wasn't minor was the fact that I locked my room door and couldn't unlock it again! When I finally did, I checked to make sure I could get out by an alternative means if there was an incident in the night. |

Only had breakfast as there was a wedding on evening of our stay - it was better than average. Golf course required strict dress code so couldn't be used - didn't bother me but brother disappointed. Lovely spot though would have liked more time to explore. |

all in all the hotel itself was quite good, a friendly manager and receptionist. However it was let down by the barmaid who could not speak english and the price of the food and drink. Whilst you expect London and the home counties to be a little more expensive I consider that £13.00 for a baked potato with tuna and a pint of lager to be scandalous. The final nail in the coffin was 80p for a normal sized packet of crisps. The room was nice, however the electric plugs are across the other side of the room from the mirror, not very good planning. hotel set in nice surroundings though. |

Nice setting. Room was comfortable, clean and modern but one of the plug sockets was broken and potentially dangerous. We could not initially operate the TV or side lights. This was as a result of a faulty connection an extension lead. Bit more attention to this sort of detail needed. |
