Easy to get to. Single room no. 2 a bit small and a bit "girlie" in decor - but that's good for 50% of customers. I didn't mind. Comfy bed, bathroom nice big and just for that room. Bear i mind there are no shops of any kind in Clifton village! Hosts very friendly, meal portions very large. The bar is tiny - get 4 people in and it's packed! All in all a good stay, I would definitely stay again. |

The room was cold. We were given a raft of intsructions as to what we could and could not do. The landlady was intrusive. The breakfast was greasy. This was a huge amount of money to pay for a basic bed and breakfast. Do not go here! |

Very welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Our family room was somewhat cramped but otherwise no complaints. Locally produced bacon, sausages and black pudding for breakfast - very tasty! |

Friendly, helpful and extremely welcoming owners - if you're looking for an alternative to the characterless motorway-side inns then the White House Experience is it. Plus the bacon and sausages at breakfast are worth travelling to Penrith for! Many thanks |
