Hotel Eurostars Domus Aurea

The hotel was only a 5 minute walk from Termini. We were greeted by friendly, multi-lingual staff. There was a facility to store our luggage. The hotel was spotless and the room, if a little small, very clean. Breakfast was on the roof with a great view overlooking Rome. There was a great selection from cereals, breads, cakes, cheeses, fruits and jogurts. There was also a nice atmosphere. We woud definately stay here again and would recommend it.

The hotel is just great it is just 5 min walk away from Termini perfect for those of you who has to live early in the morning to catch a fligt.15 min walk from Fontana Di Trevi and the Spanish Steps. Breakfast is great you can choose from different Italian salami and cheese as well as bake rolls,juice,fresh fruit. The coffee was also amazing.The room was not so big,but the bed was comfortable and they ware cleaning the room every day as well they change the towers too.The staff was friendly and helpful we had great time and definitely we will come back to Rome and to the hotel Warmly recommendations!!!!

Reception staff of inconsistent quality

Hotel is very easy to get to from the train station. Staff were friednly and helpful at reception. From previous reviews we were expecting to be in a tiny box room but ours was perfectly adequate in size. We were on the 5th floor (under the roof terrace) which meant that we did hear a fair amount of noise from breakfast in the mornings and our room was next to the cleaners cupboard so there was noise from that too. Staff running the buffet breakfast weren't the most helpful/happy but overall breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice.

Good value hotel in convenient location especially if arriving/leaving through Termini rail station from Airport - savings on taxis should be taken into account as hotel only a short walk from station. Buffet breakfast was excellent and another factor in determining value for money rating. Only drawback was size of room (small) but ok for short stays.
