Crowne Plaza Venice East

The Hotel was very convenient,four stops from Venice by train just around two minutes walk from the station QUARTO D ALTINO. Minimarket 5 minutes walk from the train station well stocked with wine, pasta and other needs. The accommodation was awesome. We were given a wonderful apartment. It had 5 rooms ( one shower room, one bathroom, an office a living room and a bedroom with a kingsize bed with bathrobes slippers etc). Wonderful accommodation. The only problem I had was asking staff for items such as knives, forks and plates and Conditioner which took over an hour to sort out and the staff at breakfast time were unhelpful and not the happiest or freindliest staff I have ever met. Apart from the service being slow, a wonderful hotel and 10/10 room! We were very, very happy.

THe breakfast food was surprisingly not of great quality. Canned fruit, powdered eggs, below the level that the cost of the room would suggest.. The coffee machine didn't work well.
The room was somewhat noisy from the sound of dripping water above and even roosters crowing outside!
There were problems with the air conditioning that finally got solved. What is very good about the hotel is the staff with the exception of one person. The desk staff was quite helpful and friendly. The housekeeping crew very professional. . Also the convenience of its location and ease of getting in and out of Venice.

This hotel was fantastic,easy to find,the staff were great,the hotel was very clean,it's linked to the train station via an underpass which makes it ideal for getting into Venice.It takes approx 25 mins on the train and costs about £ 3.00 return.You can purchase your ticket's at reception.There is free car parking at the hotel
