This is a fabulous hotel - friendly, very clean and the room was gorgeous - individual, different, stylish and lovingly decorated in a really great way. We had the Prince Regent room - fabulously over the top, we loved it. So much better than staying in a chain and such value for money. Really worth a visit and would recommend highly. Only downside, it was a business trip, so had to leave at 8.00am - and breakfast isn't served until 8.30 midweek - but the place was so charming, |

Rooms were imaginatively decorated and our superior room was spacious. However the windows were very dirty and the exterior paintwork was peeling. The whole hotel had a tired feel about it. At a discounted rate of £90 it was reasonable value. The rack rate of £150 would not be good value. The cooked breakfast was freshly cooked and good. Our room involved climbing 3 flights of stairs, which may not be suitable for some people. |

The staff were incredibly helpful. The room was fun and charming, and the view from the window spectacular. Although it is a little tricky to find when coming by car, it is well worth the extra effort. And value for money too! |
