This is a fabulous hotel - friendly, very clean and the room was gorgeous - individual, different, stylish and lovingly decorated in a really great way. We had the Prince Regent room - fabulously over the top, we loved it. So much better than staying in a chain and such value for money. Really worth a visit and would recommend highly. Only downside, it was a business trip, so had to leave at 8.00am - and breakfast isn't served until 8.30 midweek - but the place was so charming,

This was a wonderful experience. We were made to feel well at home by the guys who run the hotel. Would definitely recommend staying here to all my friends.

Rooms were imaginatively decorated and our superior room was spacious. However the windows were very dirty and the exterior paintwork was peeling. The whole hotel had a tired feel about it. At a discounted rate of £90 it was reasonable value. The rack rate of £150 would not be good value. The cooked breakfast was freshly cooked and good. Our room involved climbing 3 flights of stairs, which may not be suitable for some people.

The staff were incredibly helpful. The room was fun and charming, and the view from the window spectacular. Although it is a little tricky to find when coming by car, it is well worth the extra effort. And value for money too!
