We were put in the basement next to the kitchen. Not only was the room so small that two ppl could barely stand up together but it was really noise. We were woken at 6 every morning by the banging of doors and ppl coming to breakfast. the heating also didnt work |

Staff very friendly and helpful, and everywhere was clean. The man on reception changed my room from a single in the basement to a double on the top floor (I'm an elderly lady) and I'm glad he did, I wouldn't have wanted to stay in the basement, very small and dark. The double room was small but big enough for one, overlooking the communcal gardens at the back of the hotel, and was very quiet - although right by the exit to the stairs so I could hear the door banging all the time as people came in and out. En-suite was a shower not a bath buit that's fine for a couple of days. All in all, I'd say it was good for the price, especially in London. And in a very central area! |

hotel room was basic and needs modernisation, however it was an extremely friendly hotel, which is centrally located and clean - so what more could you want for the price!?! i would definitely stay here again and recommend for others. |

The room was small but perfectly adequate and clean. The location was excellent. Bayswater Tube station was only a few minutes walk away. Within minutes walk there were local cafes, restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend this hotel for good value and location. |

I was in the Basement, which is never promising. However, it was a bit grim and noisy. |
