Bruges is a marvellous city with more than 10 centuries of history: as long ago as the 9th century this city was an important centre for trade and industry that further developed Bruges into a real metropolis through the Middle Ages. Hotel Walburg is located in the centre of numerous attractions, and about 100 meters away from the Burgplein and the town hall, and 200 meters further the town square that is overlooked by the belfry. The exclusive hotel with its very spacious rooms and luxurious suites is actually a neoclassic 19th century city-castle that has been thoroughly restored to modern day standards.

    Good location (central). Some of the basics were missing in the room - no snacks in minibar, no flannels in bathroom. Room nice but spartan. No pay per view TV. Entrance area/dining room beautiful but bedroom modern (large and clean though). Very comfortable bed.
