The Battledown is a charming early Victorian French style villa situated on a pleasant avenue 1 mile from the town centre with easy access to the racecourse, and Centaur conference centre. All rooms are individually decorated and have en-suite facilities. Free WIFI internet access is available in all rooms.Hearty breakfasts feature locally made sausages and free range eggs. Free off road parking is available for guests. We are a NON-SMOKING establishment.

I have stayed at the Battledown quite a few times in the past and for a cost of £45 bed and breakfast it is a similair price to some other guest houses around, however the accomodation is very good, clean and good value for money. I would recommend the Battledown without hesitation as the owners are well versed in customer relations and are very helpful.

Very helpful helpful staff. Gave advice and map for getting around local area as soon as arrived. Let us store our booze for the party we were attending that night in the fridge and organised our taxi for us. Room and bathroom very clean. Lovely garden and great breakfast

Hello, We have been in this Guesthouse for a week and it has been a wonderful week. We came by train so we took a cab to the Hailes Road but it should also be possible with the bus, but we didn't want to wait and for 7,5Pounds was good enough. We had a Double room in the front which was lovely. A very nice shower in the private bathroom. Also a 3 different menu for breakfast beside the kellog's and so on. Furthermore enough space to park a car even for a dutch guy. So enjoy our stay.

Everythings there are good. Other too far away from Cheltenham city centre, I found no other weakness of it.

Our room was a generous size, extremely clean and well presented. Off street parking was great with easy access to room.
