We absolutely loved the Newbridge Inn. It's in a beautiful setting right on the river. Our room was very clean and furnished in a tasteful country house style. Lovely bathroom with a roll top tub and huge shower. The restaurant here is the real star though! We arrived late on Friday evening and when we called ahead to let them know when to expect us, we were asked if we'd like to have dinner there so we did. We were blown away by our food! We ended up eating there again on Saturday night and were so pleased we did. The cooked breakfast was also very nice. Service was great and all the staff very friendly. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! |

A picturesque setting for a very friendly 'restaurant with rooms'. Excellent service in the evening, but a little slow at breakfast. A comfortable, well-appointed room and very enjoyable food. |

We had a really pleasant few days at the Newbridge. The food was really enjoyable, with meat and fish which was locally sourced and of excellent quality, and served by staff who were happy. Everywhere was warm, comfortable and clean, and we felt at ease whether dressed up or down in the restaurant. note for the less mobile, the rooms are about 40 paces from the restaurant, up a steep slope (car park). We stayed in room 2 - which involved 4 steps (no handrail, but handholds). The room was a really good size. |
