Right in the middle of the town centre. I found the hotel of very good quality. Had a great evening at Danny Manny's, a popular Irish pub which is just under the hotel. Good food and live acts every night. The only downside is that the hotel does not offer any parking. You can use the public car park behid the hotel which is 1 euro per hour between 8:30 and 6 pm Mon-Sat. |

The car park is now working but getting to it in a saloon or anything bigger is a remarkable feat. The welcome to the hotel at the rear of the car park is awful. You are signposted through restaurant, nightclub and corridors with your bags towards the reception area at the front. The smell of the hotel reception and ajoining bar/restaurant was unpleasant so we made a decision not to eat there. We had a room that required a short marathon to reach. The reception area and corridors didn't look particularly clean (more due to its age/condition than due to lack of effort on the cleaners part). The fitness suite is accessible but not particularly nice and all round I would say that this hotel is just average. The poorer end of a 3star hotel. There is nothing drastically wrong with the hotel but I'm just not sure that they got anything quite right - except perhaps the temperature of the rooms which were nice and cool. |

We stayed 1 night on a Friday night and there was alot of noise shouting and running in the hallways. When we told this to reception they just shrugged their shoulders and said it was the same most weekends. The hotel is in a central location and was good value but I was put off by the noise |
