HOTEL DE LA FLECHE D´OR

The hotel was nice. On the small side, but from reading other reviews that is standard. The people at the front desk were able to speak some English and answered any questions we had. We left our luggage after check out to spend a few more hours sightseeing before leaving. It was close to a few Metro stops and shops. We did not eat at the hotel, but chose to eat breakfast at nearby cafes.

we booked late - the system worked though when we arrived we were accommodated in two rooms (we had booked a triple) for the first night) - staff were very helpful. The rooms was fine - clean and tidy. The site was excellent for visiting the city - we walked to the Champs Elysees and also the Musee d'Orsay though having said that the cycle hiring system is excellent and there are stations just around the corner from the hotel and it is very simple to register for daily use. Parking is handy in a secure place related to the railway station but soon mounts up (27 euros for 24hr). We really enjoyed the cafe very close by (having not bought meals in the hotel) - we found the whole location very convenient (Couple + 15yr old son from Tyneside)

We went there in the summer when it was very humid. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room so it got ver hot during the night. The room was nice though and the receptionist was very very helpful! The hotel is easy to get to being that it is very near to saint lazare station. All in all it was a nice hotel and excelllent considering how much we paid for it.
