The Late rooms price was good value and the room (16) was very clean and well serviced. But, it had the cheapest mattress I've encountered and an a/c unit outside the window that was noisy and ran through the night. |

When you eventually tracked them down the staff were polite and dealt with requests as I would expect. Room was warm, clean and comfortable, although the mattresses had seen better days in terms of comfort. Our room had a now unused connecting door, and we could hear absolutely everything happening in our male neighbours room, including what was on the telly, his snoring and morning ablutions in graphic detail - perhaps some sort of insulation might be helpful? We ate in the restaurant on our second night. The food was ok but would probably have gone out another night if staying longer. The breakfast on the other hand was excellent on both days, and the waitress lovely and smiley and very helpful. Overall, good value for money and a warm and comfortable place to stay. |

Room very old fashioned and run down. No lifts to climb the four flights of stairs. Reception unmanned alot of the time. Breakfast only served until 9.30 on Saturday morning. |

Lovely hotel and breakfast with one draw back, was a saturday night and the town ( on the doorstep ) was mad! Pubs were packed with several doormen working each pub, was very rowdy and felt unsafe. Unfortunately it all enevitably broke into the streets upon letting out time (approx 2am) and woke us up and kept us awake for over an hour whilst the square outside was covered in drunks and police. Other than that, lovely! |
