Our quiet and family managed hotel is situated in a rural environment. Room with most modern comfort, breakfast buffet. Three function rooms, wine cellar, separate conference rooms, a lovely garden terrace (150 seats) with old chestnut trees.

Recreation at and nearby the hotel: childrens playground, sunbathing area, different books, video of Dettelbach. Since 300 years a excellent confectionery belongs to the hotel.
A shop for travel supply completes the assortement. Enjoy the exquisite franconian cuisine.

    We have used this hotel often as a staging point on our journeys across Germany to Regensburg which we usually visit once each year. The hotel is excellent in all respects. Of course we have become , to some extent, quite well-known to the proprietor and his stafft and so are always well-received when we visit and use the hotel. But observation shows that we are not alone in the friendly atmosphere provided.
    We only stay one night on the way to Regensburg to break our journey, leaving a 2-hour drive the next morning. However for anyone who wishes to explore the lovely Frankenwein country and to sample its products I can highy recommend Hotel Franziskaner. It would be an excellent centre of friendliness and comfort in which to spend a few days' hol;iday.
