The hotel had no record of my booking through laterooms dot com when I arrived at 10:15 approx on Thursday night 20th June. Luckily I had with me a printout of the email confirmation.
However the hotel had 2 rooms available to accomodate us. I would be concerned that if I was to book a hotel using laterooms dot com again the hotel would not have a record of my booking.

In general, although areas of the Hotel need a bit of decorating, this was a very good Hotel. The parking is adequate and free. Breakfast served until 10.30am and was lovely. The room is of fairly large size. A sumptous bed with a very comfortable mattress topper add to the comfort although the duvet was a little warm. TV reception not great but we didnt mind. The usual Tea and Coffe facilities in the room and plenty of space so you dont feel crowded. The bathroom was fairly nice although the bath is a little small. The power shower made up for it though. Where the hotel excells is in the use of the swimming pool and health suite. Jacuzzi and Sauna and Steam Room were fantastic. Midweek is quietest and we had all the facilities more or less to ourselves. All in all a brilliant stay for less than £75 per night including breakfast. Bear in mind that breakfast would cost around £20 for a couple and you are looking at a very reasonable rate indeed.

despite the earlier hiccup in the booking of the hotel as in a phonecall on our way to the hotel saying that there had been an overbooking of the hotel and that alternative accomodation would have to be made, it did however end up a very pleasant stay. the hotel was a in a beautiful spot and the food was wonderful. the saff were a bit off when we booked in but i think they were under pressure because of the overbooking of the hotel. people had decided to last minute stay on and i guess there had been a breakdown in communication between booking computers. we will however be booking again through your system as i have never experienced any difficulty in the past. thanking you again

I enjoyed a pleasant business overnight stay at this hotel, The hotel bar and restaurant staff are very friendly and attentive, i did however, encounter a few minor problems. The first night i stayed a week previously was a very busy night and reception staff were more interested in answering phones than checking me in as i stood at the counter.
I awoke the next morning to a cold shower although during my next stay a week later, the hotel was quiet and the shower in my room was lovely. The gentleman who manned the leisure centre desk advised that i needed a swim cap to use the pool, which i have come to expect in most southern ireland hotels. However, i thought the requirement of disposable flip flops were a tad unneccessary! The pool was also filled with a class of young children. After my swim it was to the bar for a much needed pint after an 8 hour drive. The bar is superb with perfectly positioned screens for the ever important soccer matches. Afterwards it was off to my superior room (upgraded without being requested to my delight!). I awoke early the next morning and breakfast was enjoyable and, although i never eat the fried food, It looked quite adequate. To summarise, A quite enjoyable stay in lovely surroundings. I will definately be back as i have a few clients in the area and any excuse to come this direction again will no doubt take me back to the woodlands.
