Very impressive hotel, great location and ambience. Obviously popular as a wedding venue due to it's fantastic presence (some noisy guests retiring at 2am past the door - not the fault for the hotel) were the only down side of a very nice hotel |

The hotel itself is housed in a very grand former school. Parts of the hotel are rather tired and suffering from damp but overall the hotel is clean and well presented. The restuarant served passable food and was very convienient. |

no room service available which is a bit of a pain. do not stay in room 117 - noise from generator for kitchen will keep you awake. ended up having to check out early as a result. |

Nice hotel, rooms and bathroom are very spacious which makes a change. Staff all friendly and food is good. I was on business but would use again for business or leisure. |
