Hotel "Elbe" is located in the heart of Frankfurt, nearby the main station. All points of interest, as well as Frankfurt's fair grounds are easily reachable on foot or by public transport within several minutes.The Hotel is newly renovated and furnished for your disposal. Our 25 rooms, all with WC/shower are equipped with telephone, WLAN, cable TV, hair-dryer, mini refrigerator. On the reception you will find variety of leaflets with description of restaurants, events, exhibitions and shows in Frankfurt.

Whilst the hotel rooms were clean and the breakfast was good, I would not stay here again due to the location. It is right in the middle of the red light district opposite sex shops and clubs! I had booked here due to its central location for my dad's 60th, but had I have known exactly where it was would certainly not have booked. We actually cancelled our nights stay on our return to Frankfurt due to this! All members of our group, aging from 30 to 60 felt uncomfortable in this area, but had no complaints with the actual cleanliness of the hotel.

Hotel was excellent value. I only ate the free breakfast, but it was good quality and selection. For summer travel, you should indicate if rooms are air conditioned or not. It turns out the hotel is adjacent to the sex trade district of Frankfurt. Although there was no open soliciting or traffic at the hotel, I would not take my girl friend or my children to stay there simply due to the location.
