Beautiful location with views accross the golf course. Found restaurant to be dark as the curtains were closed obscuring the view that I admired so much from the bar area??? The food was average and found staff to be young and inexperienced but would stay again. |

Very good hotel for Bury St Edmunds - shame I did not get a chance to play golf but you do not have to be a golfer to enjoy this hotel. Slightly lower mark on family friendly because restaurant staff (breakfast service) had a tendency to stand around and talk to each other rather than customers. |

Very noisy due to a function taking place in the bar. I had not been informed of this when I booked the hotel. The staff moved me to another room at the third time of asking |
