Really nice hotel with friendly people, good service and excellent food which was not too pricey. Only stayed 1 night, but made a nice impression. |

We decided to stay for a weekend with my in-laws from Canada. Having travelled extensively, I have very high expectations of hotels and I can happily say that I was not disappointed! What a superb find this was. The village of Asthall is beautifull and the inn is charming, cosy and clean. The room has TV and hospitality tray and the meals were tasty and amongst a wonderful atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice relaxing peaceful time in a most wonderful setting. |

This is a hidden high class gem of a hotel/pub in the Cotswolds and very handy for Oxford. Friendly experienced staff and exceptional food plus service. |

Do not believe everything you read in other reviews of this venue!! The facilities in the room were poor and the room its self small. The service in the restaurant was unbelievably slow and disorganised and the food nothing special. Overall this was not good value for money and we will not be going back. |
