This Hotel was awful. The room was pathetic and at £98 per night was over priced, not only for that area of Rome, but also for the quality of the hotel. This was no more than a one or a two star property charging three or four star rates. |

The location of the hotel was good and the area felt 'safe', but the hotel is badly in need of refurbishment. Our room was a good size, but the TV never worked inspite of our asking everyday if someone could come and look at it. The furniture and furnishings were old and very basic, holes in the walls, poor paintwork, threadbare carpet. The bathroom had been updated. The first night we were there (I stayed 3 nites, my friend 2 - 3/10-5/10) there was no water (hot or cold) - it went off at around 8pm and we were informed when we came back to the hotel it would be repaired by 7am. No water was available till after 8am the next morning. The concierge at that time was arrogant and unhelpful (there was only 1 concierge that was what we would call 'friendly' and 'keen' to assist people, out of those we met). Housekeeping and breakfastroom staff were usually helpful. Other guests were very unsatisfied and some tried to get other accommodation without success. There was no remuneration offered for the inconvenience of no water, only 500ml bottles of water left on the landings, which soon ran out! Neither would the concierge give us the management's contact details when asked. A disappointing experience overall. |

Hotel very convenient for sites, restaurants and transport. Easy to get to from Termini. Welcoming and helpful on arrival and at all times. Breakfast is a basic buffet but good quality. Lift to basement for restaurant was inconvenient. Refurbishment undergoing externally was not a problem but could do with internal re-decoration. Hotel best described as tired and faded glory. Staff were very receptive and helpful for issues raised. Air conditioning advertised was not evident. |
