The hotel needed a good clean throughout as it was filthy . We had a meal in the bar on the evening as both of us left it as it was of a very low standard . I am aware it was only £50.00 for ther room but you expect it to be clean as least . |

There is an un-loved feel about the hotel. The Reception was terce; the checking-out lacked any "Was everything OK?" or "Thanks" or "See you again". Two notices in the lounge advertised events which had happened in 2007 or March 2008 (this was in July 2008). The restaurant staff were good natured, but struggling; there was no evidenceof any staff training. Breakfast took an age to arrive; we were told the chef was on hs own and very busy - there were six people in the restaurant at the time. |
