I have rarely stayed at a hotel were the staff were as friendly and welcoming as the Stanleylands Hotel, the menu was inventive and varied, well worth a visit for that alone. The staff make a hotel and as such this is a gem of a hotel |

The hotel (or was it laterooms?) managed to miss the fact that we had booked two rooms. Reception manager was extremely off hand. Breakfast was skimpy. |
