From Fiumicino airport: you can get the express train to Termini station (central station) then you can take bus #38 or #92 and get off after three stops, or take a taxi (5-10 Euro), or take a walk (10 minutes). Coming by car: you will arrive at the "Grande Raccordo Anulare" or "GRA", a sort of ring street surrounding Rome. Take it and drive to an exit named "Nomentana" on the north-est side. Exit there and take Via Nomentana (street) in the direction of centre. After 12 km you will arrive at "Piazza Porta Pia", the entrance to centre (you can recognize it because it is surrounded by ancient walls and you will pass at the right of the big door planned by Michelangelo), Entering the center you are now in Via Venti Settembre. After the crossing (second traffic light), you will find the Liliumhotel in the first building on the right hand side of the street.

Hotel was lovely, very peaceful during the day, our room had a balcony which was great to enjoy the morning sunshine. Breakfast was fantastic. The only downside is that there is a bit of noise from other people from the Hotel & can be a little far from places to eat & drink - a good chance to walk off the effects maybe! overall a lovely place to stay. |
