DRIVING DIRECTIONS: How to get to Colina Verde Hotel-Apartment You have at least two main directions you may take from Faro Airport to Maragota: one on the N125 through Faro and then through Olhão; the other is on the A22 highway until Moncarapacho… The following instructions take the N125 which although is a busier route, it is also a more straightforward way of getting to the best kept secret in the Algarve: When you leave the airport, follow the signs into Faro, which veer to the right past a Volvo car sales stand. Go straight ahead, keeping to the left lane past BP stations (one on either side of the road), past Forum Algarve (shopping arcade, on the left), Faro Shopping (abandoned building on the right), Feira Nova (supermarket, on the right), and keeping straight on the main road (not taking the exit to the Fiat building). Keep going ahead up to the large roundabout just before entering Faro, follow the signs posted "Olhão”, “Hospital" to the left. This will take you onto a dual carriageway uphill, past a set of traffic lights, then downhill to another roundabout (the Hospital is the building to the right), where you follow the signs “Olhão”, coming out of the roundabout on the third turning. You are on the Nacional 125 (N125), and just need to keep going straight ahead, through Olhão in the direction of Tavira. It should take you approximately 10-15min between Faro and Olhão. Once you leave Olhão, keep going straight on again, for another 10-15min (10kms) past a large roundabout, then past a turning for Fuseta to the right which is followed by speed control traffic lights, until you come across Alfandanga (sign on the right gives you a bit of forward warning). Alfandanga is a major junction with traffic lights indicating Tavira straight ahead, Moncarapacho to the left and Fuseta to the right – keep straight on). Meter 2kms from Alfandanga, straight ahead, and you will see a sign for Maragota, indicating a turning on the left, which you take. This final stretch is just over 2kms on a curvy, winding secondary road, signposted “Hotel & Campo de Golfe”. After a few curves you will soon see the Aparthotel. Welcome!
