This was my second time staying at the Martelli Hotel in Florence and would highly reccommend it to anyone staying in the Florence area. Room was very large, as was bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful, plenty of hot water in bathrooms, and there were two terraces to enjoy a glass of wine. Ps, threception were always able to provide a corkscrew when we arrived back at the hotel with a nice Chianti!! Location was superb, about 5 mins walk from SMN Station and around the corner from the Duomo. San Lorenzo market is open from around 8am until 7pm and is a 3 minute walk around the corner, selling Italian leather goods, tshirts and loads more. We will stay in this hotel again and reccommend it to all our friends. A++++++++ |

The central local of the hotel made it perfect for a city break in Florence. It was near enough to everything to allow you to pop back in the middle of the day if you needed to. The initial appearance from the outside should be ignored as the small lobby area expands into a long corridored hotel with key Florence type detail. |
