From the M1, take the exit for the M18 then at junction 2 take the A1 heading south. Leave the A1(m) at Blyth Services roundabout (Junction 34). Take the A614 and follow signs to Bawtry / Doncaster. The room was in a separate buildng from the main hotel. But not a problem. I would probably rate as 3 star and not 4

Very small bathroom, noisy where we were due to being on ground floor & being a walk through. Breakfast was good value for money & staff were helpful & polite at all times.

Car parking is difficult. Thankfully I have a disabled badge or I would have had to pay as we could not get into the car park. I was not going to park across the road at another disused hotel, as suggested, Also on checking out I paid in cash but I wasn't informed the same amount of money had been "held" from my bank account which meant until I phoned the hotel on Sunday when I returned home, I was out £640.....not good!!! When I phoned the hotel they were not apologetic or in the least concerned and I didn't get my money released in my account until Tuesday. This did put a dampner on the weekend.
