Directions to Ouse Bridge House
We are situated by Bassenthwaite Lake between Keswick and Cockermouth.Exit the M6 at junction 40 and take the A66 Westbound towards Keswick. By-pass Keswick on the A66 following the signs for Cockermouth.
The road follows the western shore of Bassenthwaite Lake for about 5 miles. There is a short stretch of dual carriageway (this used to be the old road and has a number of bends).
Approximately 250 yards after the end of the dual carriageway take the first right turn onto a minor road, signposted Dubwath & Castle Inn.After just 50 yards, turn right again onto the B5291, signposted for Castle Inn.The Ouse Bridge House is a further 50 yards on the left, set back from the road.

Rooms were lovely however bathroom could do with a little bit of TLC. Great value and lovely breakfast. Brilliant location. Would happily return again. |
