At the late room price this was a bargain. Prime position and easy access make this an attractive option for a stay in Venice. |

The hotel was very conveniently placed and easy to get to. The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean and beautifully decorated. Quality of the room was very good but had little natural light as it faced directly onto the wall of the neighbouring building. Breakfast was good and the view from the terrace was spectacular. I would certainly stay there again, although I would ask for a room with a view. |

we stayed at the ponte for 5 days having got a good deal on laterooms. top location, right in the middle of things and with a fine little balcony looking over the grand canal and the rialto bridge, but quiet and secluded given the location. the room was good, spacious and clean, with a big bathroom as well. breakfast was the usual, and the staff were friendly enough. i'd recommend this place, especially if you can get a good rate! |

The hotel is in a fantastic position. We were upgraded to the Junior Suite which was amazing, really high ceilings, a huge room with a view to die for over the Grand Canal. If you looked left you looked straight at the main bridge in Venice and to your right was a lovely view down the canal. The bathroom had a massage shower, but the water pressure wantn't very good. I would hightly recommend this Hotel as the location is perfect, it took us a while to find as it is located down an alley off a jam packed street and the hotel signage wasn't very good. Breakfast was good, offering crossaints and rolls with ham & cheese & Coco Pops. My only bad coment would be that the gentalman that checked us in was a little abrupt with us, and appreared a little put out by the fact he had to upgrade us, as another couple had decided to stay another night. But he was plesant enough. The gentalman who worked in the evening was a lot friendlier. If you want somewhere that offers traditional Venitian decor then this is the place, you really feel like a king & queen. |

This hotel has everything, situated on the Grand Canal but not noisy and you can sit out on the balcony and watch the world go by. The location near the Rialto is excellent and you can walk to St Mark's Square easily. The rooms are superbly and tastefully decorated in the Venetian style with huge chandeliers in the bedrooms, luxurious drapes, period furniture and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean and exceptionally well maintained. The staff are really friendly and you feel like an old friend after only a few hours there. Must not forget to mention the lovely lady and her assistant who serve the breakfast on immaculate table linen. Our flight home was cancelled due to the fog but luckily the our room was still vacant and we were able to return in the early hours of the morning to such a warm welcome to stay a further two nights. We did not have a canal view but it did not matter. We could go out of our room and look at the view from the balcony at the end of the breakfast - just like it looks in the picture! |
