Tried to book in for the next week but it was busy - am not surprised. A lovely elegant setting and quietly professional staff. |

The restaurant was excellent superb food and great value for money be aware however that the restaurant may not be open on Sunday evenings. However there is a great selection of lively pubs and restaurants within a 5min walk. |

I'd booked the dinner bed and breakfast option, but on arriving at the hotel I asked what time dinner was available I was told the chef had gone home. I was given a double room as an upgrade with the implication that this was instead of food, I had only booked a single room. The booking was checked and it was agreed that I had booked dinner and I was offered a takeway. Passable but not the three course meal I'd been looking forward to. Some parts of the hotel were very worn and tired looking. The room itself was, clean, small, cramped and very warm, although the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Unfortunately this room was over reception/lounge and the night staff had a very loud television on. This was turned down when I asked. Good choice for breakfast. |
