Rooms are comfortable but the food in the restaurant is overpriced and poorly cooked.(vegetables were hard and the prawns in the prawn avocado no better than cooking prawns ..cost £6.50). One guest who stays there regularly said the food had gone downhill after a management change and they never use the restaurant now. The bar food is much cheaper and for some unknown reason better quality. Shame really because the hotel and its setting are lovely. |

This is a pretty little hotel with pleasant views and an air of tranquility. Meal was good and value for money. I will stay again at this excellent value for money hotel |

Excellent room, clean, lovely views. Only quibble - we had requested a double and got a twin. There were plenty of rooms available. |

The hotel was good value with clean comfortable accommodation not dissimilar to a premier lodge. The location is very picturesque and the staff friendly and helpful. The bar meals and drink prices were reasonable. The full breakfast was well cooked and the evening meals were most acceptable. Overall we'd recommend it. |
