Standing at one end of the Diagonal (Pedralbes), in front of Catalonia's Congress Hall and next to the Sant Joan de Déu hospital, our hotel benefits from splendid views over Barcelona. Its location makes it immediately accessible from the Ronda de Dalt ring-road Exit 10 (Pedralbes), allowing you to easily find us right upon arriving in the city. The hotel has excellent connections with the entire town and the Airport.
The abba Garden hotel offers wide open spaces. Its garden areas with outdoor swimming pool and paddle tennis court are worth mentioning.
All the rooms are outward facing, cozy, very quiet and equipped with all the necessary amenities.

Arriving from "Ronda de Dalt": Wherever you arrive from the North or the Southto Barcelona, you'll find the "Ronda". It is the ring road of Barcelona. The Hotel is located in the north exit num. 10 "Pedralbes". From the Airport: Leaving "Aeropuerto del Prat", just follow the signs "Ronda de Dalt".     Slight downside was distance from centre of Barcelona but this was made up by facilities at hotel.Fine if you are ok catching buses.Restuarant menu inflexible and alternative bar menu, but not able to mix and match.

    Breakfast was expensive and no discount for children. Disappointed to find that we had to pay for parking although a long way from the centre. The free shuttle to the metro was not available as it was a public holiday and it was at least a ten minute walk in the very hot sun. Lovely pool.

    We chose this hotel for the swimming pool which was super for the children aged 9 and 13. The water was tested every day and the pool was a good size. The bedroom was very clean and was a good size for a family. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On the down side, the hotel was a ten minute walk downhill to the nearest metro but a very hilly twenty minute walk back which was no easy task in the heat. The number 78 bus did stop a little closer to the hotel which avoided having to climb the hill but took a long time to get to/from town. Breakfast was a bit on the pricey side, around 14euro per person for the buffet which adds up if you are a family of four. Although the quality of the food was very good. There are absolutely no convenience stores/shops/bars around the hotel so you do have to venture out or come prepared. However, I would definitely go back to this hotel with my family but would choose to stay nearer to town if I was travelling without children on a citybreak.
