I stopped at this hotel for one night en route to a business meeting. The young staff seemed inexperienced, untrained and unmanaged - quite unprofessional. My room was an absolute disgrace - the carpet was filthy and still had a previous guest's nail clippings spread around the bed. It took ages to actually get to the room - via a rabbit warren of narrow passageways. This is far from ideal when carrying a suitcase, laptop case etc. I hope - for their sakes - that the owners have made the very necessary improvements to their staff training and room cleanliness. I, for one, however do not intend to go back there to find out. |

The Hotel staff were very helpful but the Hotel was an old building and had a lot of problems for older visiters and was not able to cater for people with walking disabilities (unable to use stairs, no lifts etc.) The rooms were old and not able to provide the same level of comfort as a modern building, it is more like a bed and breakfast than a Hotel so the cost was not worth the money charged. |
