There was a couple of problems with room but they kindly reduced the bill and as I had stayed here previously I knew they were an exception. |

We were lucky getting a room with a nice view towards the river. Our expectations were not very high due to some reviews on sites. But this Hotel is definitely good value for many. The location right in the city centre makes it perfect to get to all the sites easy. The decor is a bit old fashion but we just use the hotel to rest our heads after exploring Loch Ness and other near by beauties. |

the check in staff were helpfull and polite, the hotel was generaly clean, although the room standard was not great, the shower would swich from icy cold to scalding hot in an instant, the room was overlooked by an office block, which meant having the curtains closed most of the time, and it was above the main entrance which could be noisy at times. That said overall value for money was acceptable. Food was, however of a poor standard, we only eat in one night, one of our choices was off on selection and the other we were informed 20 minutes after ordering was not available, when the meals did arrive they were of a poor standard, looking as if they had been re-heated in a microwave. |
