Hotel was easy t o find as right near main station in Rome which was great for us as we were there for one night. The manager was really helpful offering advice as to where to go and what to see, even offering a map of Rome. The room was a good size with aircon at last!!! The only problem was that there was no hot water when we got back into the room to have a shower and the bed was a little creeky. Apart from that I would pass on details to other trvaellers. |

The hotel was very easy to get to from the terminii. The problem we had was there was a lot of building work going on inside and out of the hotel building. This meant that we could not open ant shutters so we did not have enough natural light. I really found this to be a problem and wished that we had been informed so that we could have made the decision to move to another hotel. Even if we had been offered something off the price I would have been pleased about. As it was my husbands birthday suprise and I thought it would it would spoil it for him if I had asked to be moved. The breakfast, although plentifull was mainly sweet biscuits and bread that was ok for 7 days. Not to my liking at all. In fact we purchased croissants and gave some of the contents of the breakfast basket to the many homeless people we saw. |

Breakfast food unfortunately is packaged and not great quality, but other than that it is an excellent place to stay. The staff are very friendly and always helpful, the rooms are nice and very clean. I would definetely recommend this B&B. It is also a short walk down to the centre of Rome. |

The hotel was ideally located for the terminal bus station, however was a rather strenous walk away from the main eating and drinking places. There were places local to the hotel to eat and drink but the area wasn't very nice. The hotel was not the easiest to find as it was situated 'within' a shared building - I think the other floors were residential apartments. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spotless, however one couldn't help but feel slightly claustrophobic as ours was on the small side. Excellent shower, but again very small even to one of slight build. I appreciate that folk spend hardly any time in their rooms whilst away, so if you are looking for somewhere clean and comfortable enough and not bothered about being 'out of the way', then this could be the place for you. Unfortunately whilst we were there renovations were taking place on the floors above, there was a rubble shoot right outside our bedroom window and work started early.....7.00AM!!! It is all down to personal preference at the end of the day and this 'hotel' has had rave reviews......personally I would rather pay a bit extra and stay in a more 'happening' establishment where you could relax with a drink in the bar after a days sightseeing! P.S. There are no staff after 2PM each day, so if you have queries or need advice......it's a wait until morning. |
