The facilities for breakfast were horrendous. The guests were queuing in a very small area trying to access cereal or juice. Then you had to queue again for the main breakfast. Coffee or tea was not available and staff were unhelpful when asked. You couldn't just go over to the cereal area as other quests presumed you were pushing in, therefore you had to wait. Once we had queued they ran out of food. Surely they know how many quests will be wanting breakfast.
Part of the experience of staying in a hotel is a lie in and a cooked breakfast. We walked out in disgust and stopped at the services on the way home. I would not reccommend this hotel to any friends or family until this problem was sorted out. Everything else about the hotel was excellent and this seems such a shame that this let it down. I did fill in the evaluation stating this fact. The breakfast area needs to be moved to another place as there were two doorways into this small space with people trying to get passed and also leaving. Other quests were complaining and we were not the only ones who walked out.
Sorry if this is very negative but my husband travels around the country and in 30 years of travelling he has only walked out twice and Saturday was once. On reflection l am glad l did not book for two nights as we had originally done.

Generally a pleasant experience, spacious room / bathroom. Only let down by noisy room service delivering tea/coffee at 3.15AM to room next door (slamming doors, / loud talk / laughter)

Stayed in this hotel because I had a meeting in the Hilton just 2 miles away but their rate was £80 per night as opposed to £50 with breakfast. The dining room is small & being on my own I decided to walk around Kegworth to try & find a nice little pub that did food. Unfortunately couldn't really find one so I bought a chinese & eat it in my room. Sopeaking to guests in the bar after they all said the food was good. I would describe this as a typical airport type hotel people arriving & departing, it is small & friendly & was excellent value on a friday night £50 for a double. Breafast was ample

Ecellent service
was made welcome on arrival, and both accomodation and food was first class.
Bar prices were as expected higher than pub prices but not overly high for hotel prices.

Food was only slight disapointment but did refllect the p[rice I paid. Certainly equivalent to a godd pub and stop quality of staff.
