Directions to Red Lion Coaching Inn ellesmere shropshire
Approaching Ellesmere from Shrewsbury (south) on the A528, pass the Mere and find us by the church. Also if coming from Whitchurch (east), you will join the A528 as above.
From Oswestry (west) on the A495, follow the road through the town and head for the Mere. The Red Lion is next to St.Mary's Church.
From Wrexham (north) you can follow the A528 right into Ellesmere. Turn left at the roundabout and continue towards the Mere.
If you arrive by canal you will find moorings at or near the Wharf in the town. The Red Lion is an easy walk away via the town centre. The nearest rail station is at Gobowen with links to mainline stations at Shrewsbury and Chester.

The host was extrememly welcoming; we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the evening meal of a good standard. We would certainly stay there again. |
