The hotel was beautiful with fantastic gardens and lovely walks through part of the glen of the downs. Our room was lovely and very clean with a fab view of the gardens. My only complaint was that the window had a very bad draft coming in even though it was closed properly and the top small window's handle didn't lock. |

Enjoyable stay. Fantastic setting and beautidul views. Stayed here about 7 years ago and my feeling is that the overall quality has deteriorated a bit since then. Happy with room and facilities - restuarant was excellent - only complaint would be the bar area, which is not very well laid out. Service was poor (waiting too long to be served) and live music was too loud. No atmosphere at all... |
