Belle Vallee

This was an excellent choice for a short break within 1.5 hours drive of our entry port at Ouistreham. The house was very attractive situated in extensive grounds with superb views. We had a large room on the first floor at the front of the house with a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with sunken bath and separate shower, as well as use of a very large and well furnished lounge. Our host was particularly hospitable and helpful, providing a g99od continental breakfast and, by prior arrangement, excellent dinners that were very good value for money. This is a first class bed & breakfast location that we can highly recommend.

We spent a wonderful 2 days at this romantic hotel on the outskirts of Domfront. In mid-September, it was quiet, sunny and peaceful and Richard, our hotelier, was incredibly welcoming; greeting us with a large glass of wine on arrival and helpful and accommodating at all times.
I can't recommend this place enough.

The hospitality we received at Belle Vallee was perfect. Our room was spotless and very attractively decorated and furnished, with a lovely bathroom and an extremely comfortable bed. The room was quiet, with a peaceful rural view. Optional evening meals were delicious and were beautifully served and very good value. Richard and Victoria are excellent hosts and made our stay and the stays of our fellow guests exremely pleasant.

We arrived very late at night after becoming lost, Victoria and Richard were very understanding, and helped us to find our way to them. Tucked away in beautiful countryside, Belle Valee is well worth a visit. We expected to be staying in a pretty basic room for the cost, but instead found ourselves in a beautiful gite, which was more than worth the money. In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast and were made to feel so welcome, we will definitely be returning.
