Nice hotel although i have never known a hotel to be so creaky! ALL of the floor boards creaked in our room, and the room above making it quite noisy at times. other than that we were happy with everything. Great location with a 5 minute walk to town and the beach. i would stay again although i would like a less creaky room! |

Due to the floor boards being unbelivebly noisy, i rang to complain as the customers in the room above would pase up and down from 6 am for two or three hours {due to having a baby} this i could understand, but when I rang to complain on many occasion the desk staff were of very little help, i asked for the manager to call and had no responce. I had very little sleep during this break. I UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES WITH A BABY CAN NOT BE HELPED BUT TO HAVE NO RESPONCE FROM THE HOTEL RUINED THIS REST!!! |

At first look the hotel was not too bad, however the door to the bathroom stuck and had I been frail and on my own I would never have been able to get out! There was no iron in the room although there was an "ironing room" which consisted of 1 iron and an ironing board with a filthy cover which was in dire need of recovering which I had to queue for and the corridor I queued in smelt terribly smokey. I was woken at 5am both days of my stay by the creaking floorboards of the room above, very loudy - the floorboards all over creaked - not good when we had gone here for a break away. To wait for the antiquated lift would have been a waste of time and the general tidiness was not what it should be. Over priced in respect of the quality of the hotel, but the location was very good. |
