After reading a few reviews before making the booking for 3 days my wife and I were so impressed with everything. All the staff were so friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent. The Hotel was so well decorated and our room was oh so clean. The bar and dining areas were so tastily decorated and we felt so good and relaxed. It was our first wedding anniversary and so it was important that we made the right choice.Yes we cannot fault the Cumberland and will come back again soon.Thankyou |

The ground floor of the hotel was attractive, breakfast was enjoyable with plenty of choice. However, our bedroom was much too small and very ordinary. The base of the bed was very old and tatty. The lift was much too small for the hotel, only holding 3 people. |
