Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was nicely decorated. I enjoyed the breakfast and when ordering room service it arrived promptly. I found the Rutland good value for money and would recommend this hotel to family and friends. |

The welcome at this hotel was excellent and efficient. The corridors leave a bit to be desired, being a long walk to our room. The room was newly fitted out, a little cramped and i caught my foot and legs on protruding furniture. The bathroom was very good except a little cold and a very high loo, my wife couldn't touch the floor when she sat on it!. The bed was terrible, a solid wooden base with a very poor quality matress on top, I could feel every spring. Breakfast was good. All the staff were excellent and friendly. |

This hotel has undergone a really great transformation since I last stayed here. The Customer Service was very friendly and attentive, spotless room with modern decor, flat screen TV, wet ensuite shower room, tea+coffee facilities and free WiFi access for hotel guests. Superb value for money if you are looking for a hotel on the University side of the City. Cooked breakfast (and that's cooked to order, not buffet) was included in the price. Would highly recommend this hotel and well worth 3* to 4* |
