The location of the hotel is quite central and within walking distance to main attractions. there are a good number of restaurants in the area as well. The staff at the hotel are nice and speaks good English, and are very helpful in giving directions for the main attractions. The breakfast is continental and although the quality of food is good, I would have preferred an English breakfast especially in a good standard hotel as this hotel is. I would definately stay there again and also recommend it to family and friends |

We stayed at the hotel mid-August. The room was large, more like a suite with a large and comfortable en-suite bathroom. (This wasn't the standard room that we had initially hoped to book - think it was classed "luxury" or "executive" and therefore more expensive). The room was blissfully airconditioned and very quiet even though the hotel is located in a small alley off the main (and very busy) square. The location was absolutely perfect - an easy walk to all main attractions: trevi fountain, spanish steps, forum, colisseum, even a pleasant (but approx 35 min?) walk to the Vatican. The area felt safe and upmarket and we had no qualms about walking around late at night. Indeed on our first night (a Sunday) we even managed to get something to eat in the square at midnight. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and there is someone on duty throughout the night. The breakfast was good considering the Italian breakfast is normally quite sparse. It was served in a small basement by very efficient staff and included cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, selection of cold meats and cheeses, pastries and hard boiled eggs. |
