The hotel is not where the map states. It's actually at the top of a hill and across a park so you have to climb steps to go back from the old town. |

This is abeautiful hotel, but it is not in a good location for getting to the city centre and the sights. There is no direct tram or Metro connection, and to say that it is a ten minute walk is simply not true! For that reason I would not recommend it to a friend. The breakfast was superb, and my room was large, clean and comfortable. However, the only English TV programme available wa CNN, and the shower head in the bathroom fell off with monotonous regularity. The reception staff, while reasonably friendly, were most unforthcoming on the poor public transport links to town. |

We had a wonderful stay at the Art Hotel and even received two free tickets to watch Sparta Prague football team who's ground is just around the corner. The art work/photo's displayed around the hotel gives a relaxing warm feeling to the hotel. We found the 10/15 minutes walk through the park into the centre no problem although this could create a problem for much older people due to the steep incline on the initial stretch out of Prague. You can catch the tram at the end of the road (Brilliant/cheap service) if feeling lazy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.Could'nt ask for any more. |
