Hotel was easy to find and had plenty of parking. Bar/lounge and ability to use /DVD collection was also a nice extra. Decor and breakfast were great. A bit pricier than I would normally have gone for, but reasonable value for money. |

We usually use the big chains when travelling but were most impressed by this establishment - from the warmth and cordiality of the welcome to the presentation of the accommodation and the quality of food. The proprietors obviously care and set a high standard which is reflected throughout. Although the room was very clean and comfortable we understood that we had booked an en-suite when in fact we found we had been allocated a room with a "private bathroom" across the corridor. I would clarify this at time of booking in future. |

Would stay there again providing i was not in the room beneath the kitchen! Footsteps continued until approx 12.30 am and the alarm clock provided, woke us up at 7 am - with plenty more footsteps to make it difficult to get back to sleep! |

The hotel is clean and well equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. The only negetive, for me, is that the bed had a continental quilt without a sheet. Even though the quilt cover was very clean I personally still prefer a top sheet. |
