Parkes is a luxury boutique hotel situated in a tranquil tree lined cul-de-sac in the heart of London's Knightsbridge. Only 100 metres from Harrods and within easy walking distance of the museums, Hyde Park and some of the best restaurants bars and shops you'll find anywhere in the world. Fully refurbished in 2001 all rooms have marble bathrooms with heated floors, 12” high-pressure showers, digital air-conditioning, free wireless internet access, flat screen televisions and movies on demand.

On arrival the reception staff were very friendly and we were able to obtain our room before 12 noon. The executive room was very comfortable, king size bed and the heated bathroom floor a morning luxury. The hotel was very convienent a few hundred yards from Harrods in a quiet cul-de-sac. The room was very quiet a bonus in London. The small public lounge attractive to look at badly needed the cushions replaced as they were flat and uncomfortable, a minor point but in this standard of hotel they should be upgraded. The integrated internet on the TV was difficult to work. The flat screen TV was excellent. A pleasant place to stay in London away from the large chain type hotels

Nice quiet hotel - very convenient, good rooms, although showers in single room very tight. Do book a taxi if you need one - almost impossible to hail one in the morning!
