The Royal Hotel and Leisure Centre is ideally located in the beautiful seaside resort of Bray, yet just a 30 minute train journey from Dublin City Centre. Bray is also the gateway to the lakes, mountains and friendly villages of the beautiful county of County Wicklow, close to Glendalough and Avoca. The extensive leisure centre includes a 14m swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, child's pool and a complete range of fitness equipment. All our rooms are en-suite with high quality furnishings and colour co-ordinated fabrics. Multi channel T.V., direct dial telephone, and tea/coffee making facilities, are standard features. The comfortable 'Heritage Restaurant' where you can choose from our extensive a la carte and/or table d'hote menus.

    Quite an austere building from the front, but on entering the front door you will not fail to be impressed. For a 3 star hotel we were very impressed and it is true what they say about the folk from the South, very friendly, attentive and helpful to their guests.
    Being very central to Bray makes this hotel a good base for those who enjoy being at the hub of activities and people who have left the car at home will not have far to walk to all the local amenities. Be aware that the hotel has no parking of their own, but discount is offered at a 24 hr staffed car park right behind the hotel. Discount for guests is 5 euro per night, but this gives peace of mind and does not chain you to the car park for the evening, as you can get a ticket to come and go. Would recommed this to all.
