not very happy with the hotel or staff, charged wrong rate, breakfast staff obviously hungover and couldnt care less, we were there fo a wedding told one thing by the hotel reg. food, money etc only to be told another by the function room staff! which meant us having to walk 5 mins , not good when pouring down outside and spent time getting ready for a wedding, down the road for money as not able to put drinks on the key card as originally told , friends that arrived after us had to wait several hrs before rooms were ready, although they arrived at allocated times, they had to use our room to get ready for the wedding. Also alot of noise ALL through the night from other guests, several phone calls to staff at various points, nothing done, i would have went myself to the room but my partner would not let me, just glad we didnt have our child with us! We would not use or recommend this hotel name again. |

The hotel was very easy to find and looked quite pleasant from the outside, however; As soon as my wife and I entered the lobby we knew we had made a mistake. We arrived early evening and as the lounge is accesable from the lobby we could see that it was obviously the "hangout" for staff both on and off shift. All public areas also smelled very badly. After a long drive we just wanted to relax, have a drink and a bite to eat. Service was unprofessional and the food was nothing more then overpriced Iceland freezer food slapped on a plate. Things only got worse when we got to the room and discovered how unclean it was. There is a difference between tidy and clean! There were cob webs everywhere in easily reached places and the shower walls were caked with others' soapscum. Our stay was further inconvenienced by the housekeeper walking in after a quick tap on the door, both mornings, around 8:30 am. The second morning we also had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door! |
