The Park Hotel stands proudly overlooking the Northumbrian coastline with fantastic sea views over some of the most stunning shorelines in Britain. The Park Hotel has full sea view rooms from 48 of our 55 bed rooms giving the customer an amazing feel that only the sea can give. The Hotel makes a superb base from which to explore Northumberland and is only a ten-minute drive from Newcastle upon Tyne.The Park Hotel has the facilities to suit all clients, from the lively environment of Parkers bar thought to the informal setting of our restaurant. We have ample car parking with spaces for over 200 cars.The park hotel restaurant boasts an extensive a la carte menu and a delicious carvery. All of our food is freshly prepared on the premises by our chefs. The Park Hotel has fifty-five bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, all individually decorated with the necessary facilities including trouser press, hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, and most importantly the assistance of our friendly helpful staff.

Shabby chic- hotel has potential but needs a lot of money spending on it. The booking was incorrect initially - we had asked for a twin room, but a double was offered. We did get the twin eventually. The room was very small, but clean. There were tea/coffee making facilities - the bathroom was a good size.

Though the rooms perhaps need some upgrading I thought the hotel offered decent value for money and the sea view in the morning was great.

The room was very small for two people.There was plenty of hot water but the shower didn't work so a bath was the only option. The curtain was hanging off the track only secured at either end the room looked very tired and shabby.

This hotel is badly in need of a refurbishment. it looked like it hadn,t been touched since the sixties.

The Hotel needs to be updated and a possibly a good clean. However, it has an excellent location, the room had a sea view, the linens were clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money and I would certainly stay there again.
