Situated on the fringes of Cardiff nestling amongst the Welsh hills, New House Country Hotel boasts unrivalled views over the city and the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. Embellished with history, open fires, the exquisite furnishings, the beautifully restored bedrooms and the award-winning restaurant combine to create the perfect venue for business or pleasure. Our 36 non smoking en suite bedrooms are distinctively decorated and sumptuously furnished to the highest standard ensuring all modern comforts and facilities are provided. Our award-winning restaurant offers a selection of local specialties and seasonal dishes to delight the most discerning guest. Our varied menus place a strong emphasis on using fresh local produce with a mixed Welsh and Modern classical theme. At both lunch and dinner choices can be made from the à la carte or mouth-watering luncheon menus. During the summer months, weather permitting, we are pleased to be able to offer the facility of outside eating on the front patio for light lunches and afternoon teas.

nice hotel. price was up for the rugby, no choice. if booked early nice hotel for the price. food is good but menu is limited. we definetally go again. Cardiff centre 15mins by taxi £15.

Lovely hotel with a great view across the city to the sea, and not too difficult to get to by bus (as long as you haven't much luggage!). The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. Probably one of the more affordable places to have an experience like this.

Stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions in the one week both rooms were of very high quality and very clean. Food in restaurant was very good but perhaps a little pricey.
