As you enter the city at the bottom of the hill continue up Maid Marion Way, you will come to a large roundabout. The hotel is situated on the right hand side. Take the 2nd exit onto Upper Parliment Street, continue for approx 50 metres, the Euro Car Park is on the right hand side. Exit the car park the way you came in at the main entrance, turn left. The hotel is 2 minutes walk away. Bring your ticket to the hotel for validation. Up to 15 hours £5.50, up to 24 hours £8. Good points: Overall good value for money (59 pound for a family room). Very helpful with luggage storage after we checked out and we wanted to look around the city. Good location to walk to many tourist attractions. Breakfast quick and easy and plentiful. Room clean and fairly ok size for a family room. Negative points; Reaction time to cleaning of mess made by late night revellers a bit tardy. Mattress not so great.

This hotel is ideally located in the very centre of Nottingham however we found parking difficult (one of our party was in a wheel chair and the hotel provided no parking facilities to enable a safe drop off). The NCP and Euro car parks were both near but highly priced and ALL disabled parking was full - many spaces taken by non disabled badge holders which didnt seem to be of interst to the owners. Check in was quick but remember to take a credit card with you otherwise you will be required to pay in full before seeing your room! The female receptionist was brusque and offhand - service with a smile was definaltley not applicable - she also managed to book my family of four into a double room with just the one bed! This was quickly remedied by the senior recepttionist who was pleasant, polite and apologetic. The room was basic and clean, everything you would expect from a budget hotel. To say we were in the heart of the city we were not troubled by traffic noise. The hotel is ideally located for restaurants and bars - we visited on a Tuesday evening and found plenty of choice to eat out with a family just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was continental and basic, again for a budget hotel it was what you would expect. For £68 the hotel was good value for money - but if you are given the choice the far superior Rutland Square Hotel should be your first choice! If you are disabled I would not recomend this hotel at all. No ground floor rooms and no parking... not sure how a disabled adult would be able to evacuate in the event of emergency.

Room was fine for what we wanted. Staff were all helpful. Only complaint (and a minor one at that) was at breakfast there was a very slow turn around for crockery etc
