Take Junction 36 off M6 and follow the A591 to Kendal and Windermere. Turn left into and through Windermere village towards Bowness. The Glenburn Hotel is situated on the left hand side a quarter of a mile beyond Windermere on New Road. There is plenty of private car parking space at the hotel.

The checkout time was a little bit early and had us rushed. The staff were all friendly and forthcoming and it had a good family atmosphere, and the location was an ideal distance from the town centre. |
